With so many things to celebrate, we decided to take a big trip. Our trip was to celebrate graduation, Christmas, our one year married anniversary and also our 4 year anniversary since meeting. We had a great visit last year @ The Colby Hill Inn, so we ventured there again. The Inn was charming, the skiing was awesome and the food was yummy! Why did we have to buy round trip tickets? Luke, thank you for the memories and for choosing me.

6 years later… I have my degree! There was a point when the uphill battle could have retrieved yet another victim. Then, through the influence and support of others, the battle was overcome.

For Christmas and my graduation, my sister, Heather and Luke’s brother, Josh were in town. What a treat to spend time with everyone and we even got to see Jason and Gabi. Between Wii sports, Rockband and board games, we were full of Wiiiiii………

In this photo, notice where the tip of the drumstick is and the look on my face. Yup, that’s right… I am getting my middle finger on my right hand smashed(actually fractured to be exact). How convenient that I will forever have a picture to remind me of that painful moment. I was only trying to assist in getting the very last note of the song so they would win their ending bonus points. Next time, I will mind my business.

These two boys can play some bowling! In between my gutter balls and awesome score : (, Luke and Josh were throwing strikes, doubles and turkey’s. You haven’t seen Xtreme bowling until you’ve played with these two Whitlock’s.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Yesterday I was typing away on the computer and realized that Sassy was staring at the french kitty couple next to the Eiffel Tower, so cute…I think she was daydreaming about a romantic fling of her own in her younger years

This is what happened after the first flash…she realized I was taking a picture and wanted a piece of the action…
“When good kitties go bad!”

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

Okay, I know it’s not Monday but this did happen on a Monday…:)

Yesterday was the first day of school and my first unofficial day of internship(in Kindergarten) and boy was it somethin’!!! I am so looking foward to this semester because kids really do say the darndest things and it cracks me up!
I didn’t think I would have to worry about my teacher saying the darndest things though! Well, she couldn’t remember my last name for the life of her and so I was introducing myself to the parents and kids when they entered the classroom yesterday morning. There was one particular set of parents that were video recording their daughter’s first day of school being dropped off in the classroom…Needless to say, these parents will forever have a piece of the OMG story to share and laugh at.
The teacher went to introduce me and the father turned the camcorder at me as she was about to say my name and she said, “and this is my intern Mrs. Woodcock…..” EEEK!! In my head, I was trying to rewind and pretend that didn’t just happen but um, yeah, it did…I looked at the parents with a face of shock and quickly corrected the mistake but it was too late…I could tell the parents were contemplating yanking their kid right out of this class where they would be forced to yell out an innappropriate name everyday…
While amusing and embarrassing at the same time, I am happy to have another OMG story to share so soon!
So, it is Monday’s(really Tuesday’s) OMG!!!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7
Just as this little brave kitty cat proves its courage, we too need not let fear control our choices, hearts and minds.
